Sorry if there's another thread about this, couldn't find it. I've only been running flood coolant for about 8 hours of operation using the stock coolant system. The stuff gets everywhere though, especially with a big end mill flinging it around. Even churns it up and gets in the air to some extent to be noticeable in my small garage. My biggest concern was today when I removed the way covers on the Y axis ways to see plenty of milky coolant on them even after 24 hours of last having run it.
My two week old Tormach already has some staining on the ways now. Should I be concerned? I'm going to at the very least be adding some additional way protection with some buna-N sheets, but I may go so far as to switch to air cooling with a lubricant drip.
