I have successfully uploaded some files to my 89 CHNCll with Fanuc 10T control but when I sent a longer file (just over a page of code) it over fills the buffer and alarms out. I am surprised it will not hold more and the file is quite simple, I am using baud rate of 4800 like the manual prescribes, is there a different way to load the files or is the memory capacity for each program small? I tried to delete some files in the catalog but it did not change where it breaks down when uploading. I see there are ways to output code without the "N##" before each line, but it didn't change it. So, am I at the limit? Do I need to split the file? Or use better caned cycles that slim the size of the file down? I am not actually "drip" feeding, It takes the entire file and keeps it, different then my tree mill where I can use unlimited size files, Any way to do this here too?
