Newbie Which lathe to keep

Hi everyone yes it's another newbie
This looks like an awesome forum so I'm pretty excited to dig into all this info.
I'm an automotive tech for over 20 years & recently decided to buy a mini lathe & milling machine (possible mid life crisis thing) as I've always wanted them. Well I ended up with two mini lathes (don't ask long boring story). Anyway one is a Cummins 5278 & the other a Metal worker variable speed,both are 7x12.
I've stripped both & they look pretty much the same other than the motor & electrics. The Cummins has a FC250J/110v board with a 400watt motor & the Metalworker has a XMT1125 board with a 250watt motor. I'm going to sell one of these just not sure if one is better than the other. The cummins it's pretty much unused other than the prev owner used it to turn a wooded top for his grandson that's it,& the Metalworker looks like it didn't do much either,it also has a nice guard over the main leadscrew. I would really appreciate some advise as I can't seem to find any info on these controllers or lathes as to which one might be better Thanks & hello again Lee
