So I'm in a bit of a quandary here. I have the opportunity to purchase a Leadwell VMC-OP at an upcoming option. I went and looked at it tonight, and it seems to be in good shape, but was not, and will not be, powered on before the auction. So I'm hoping someone here can help me out with a few questions I have.
1) The machine is a 1994, looks almost brand new, but without powering it on I'm in the dark as to the true condition. What's a fair price "as-is"?
2) Being new to buying a VMC what can I look for without power to get a good feel for the machine. Is it even possible?
3) Again, I'm a bit wet behind the ears with VMCs, any other considerations I should take into count before I bid on it?
Thanks
Cliff
