Me and my dad have recently become interested in CNC routing after he saw a Carvewright at a wood workers trade show. So we looked into that and it's not the best tool for what I would like to do. Rockler Shark or shark Pro is pretty much the commercial option, seems a little small for what you get.
So I have started to look into these kits specifically CRP2448, and it seems like a pretty good deal for what we would pay for it. I would like to hear from people that have built these or even other kits from CNCRouterParts. Building something like this is seems a little intimidating, but I am capable of looking at instructions and diagrams to put things together. If you have built one of these kits, how has the experience been for you? Was CNCRouterParts as helpful as expected? I haven't seen any bad things said about them, but I also haven't been able to find too many reviews of their router kits.
Any owners of this machine have anything too say about it? Is this too much of a project for someone with very little CNC knowledge/experience? I consider myself pretty computer literate, and very willing to learn something new.
