I have always jumped to the forum browsed without signing in and if I felt I could contribute I signed in and replied. Starting last week I notice the treads all say closed (I presume that means I can't contribute without signing in, just like it was always the case) but now I can't even page down through the list of threads to see what is new and interesting. I use the right side slider bar and after it gets part way down I jump back to the top. After a day or two I figured maybe they just want to discourage guests so I signed in. The forums worked better but they still broke. Typically I look at the Environmental group then go on, close the CAM group, look at the CAD group then close it before jumping into the Mechanical Engineering group. I now find when I try to exit the ME group using the back arrow of my browser I end up back at the top of the CAM group with it opened. I step down again, closing up groups as I go since it makes scanning easier, until I get to MetalWorking Machines and go into the first thread. When I try to exit it via the back arrow I end up back at the CAM group with it reopened. I step down again and go into some other thread with exactly the same result.
I doubt things are supposed to work that way. For background I'm browsing with Windows 7 Professional and Firefox on a cable connection.
