Another Torus PRO Servo Edition

My Torus PRO servo edition is schedule to be shipped by the end of this week. I should receive it by April 1.

I have used my current Novakon NM-200 V2 since October, 2010. The Novakon NM-200 V2 CNC mill has been very dependable, accurate, and served me well during this time.

Obviously, I would not have ordered another Novakon machine if the first machine had been manufactured poorly, or the Novakon support been unacceptable. I have never regretted buying a Novakon product including their tooling.

I believe the Novakon servo edition CNC machine with its 12” x 40” table and travels of 24" X and 15" Y is by far the best value in the under $15,000 CNC mill class. The XY work envelope of the Torus Pro (360 square inches) is more than two times larger than the Tormach’s travels of 16.25” X and 9.5” Y (171 square inches). This item was the major reason I initial purchase the Novakon NM-200 V2 CNC mill. I can’t tell you how many times, the larger table and larger work area has made the machining of projects easier and faster.

Unfortunately, I will be going on vacation and will not be able to use the new Torus PRO CNC mill until the third week in April. I will post comments and pictures at that time
