Hi,
We are consulting to a client that is building new plants.
As part of the machinery, the client intends to install 6 high viscosity liquid-gel dispensing CNC machines/robots.
Let me know if you can quote these 6 robots, either new, used or rebuilt:
A summary of the RFQ:
Our client is interested in a low cost, high viscosity gel-like liquid dispensing robots. The liquid will be dispensed onto materials with a deck size of up to 250cm x 250cm (working area). The size of the deposited liquid-gel should be scalable from 0.1mm to 10mm with volume/flow control through nozzle heads. The client would like the nozzles to dispense several liquid-gels with either different viscosities or different colors through several nozzle heads (minimum 4) thus reducing liquid-gel reloads (and flush time) especially on larger multi-colored jobs.
The robots mechanical/software abilities are:
1. Able to efficiently and quickly dispense high viscosity gel-like liquid, in a variety of viscosities and colors, through refillable nozzles/heads to locations on materials or surfaces, pre-determined by the robots user friendly software program
2. The dispensed high viscosity gel-like liquid can measure anywhere from 0.1 mm to 10mm, the volume of flow can be programmed with a volumetric dispense system (nozzle heads tips)
3. The robot should be able to accurately repeat and dispense high viscosity gel-like liquid to the same exact spots/locations for multi-layering
4. The robot should have a PC based software program that will download a color image and through user manipulation create a path for all the nozzles within a 0.1mm resolution
Typical set of tasks for the robot:
5.User downloads a color image or rendering into the CNC robot
6.The CNC robot plots the dispensing of the high viscosity gel-like liquid based on the colors or gel viscosities shown on the image (to a width resolution of 0.1mm and maximum of 10mm), robot assigns the nozzles and highlights which nozzles should be filled with which liquid-gel
7.Robot calculates when and if the high viscosity gel-like liquid needs to be added and to which of the nozzles/heads
8.User/operator reviews the robots plots/plans and overrides where necessary in simple English (no coding); the operator has the ability to re-assign gels/nozzles, re-plot each of the nozzles travel/dispensing areas to 0.1mm resolution and is able to reconfigure nozzles tip width or flow speed etc.
9.User secures the working material to the 2.5 meter deck
10.User fills the pumps with the necessary liquid-gel
11.User starts the robot
12. If the number of colors in the scanned/downloaded image exceed the number of colors available through the pre-configured number of nozzles the user/operator flushes out the nozzle/tanks and re-fills them with the additional colors and continues the dispensing until all colors are accurately dispensed
In case of technical problems its imperative the work in progress area is not damaged, subsequently recovery procedures should be in place, such as:
13.Robot will send an alarm or immediately shut itself down, depending on the severity of the problem
14.Robot can re-start where it previously left off
15.Robot first sends an alarm when paint drops below certain pre determined level and then stops if one of the nozzles/heads runs dry
16.Remote PC viewing/monitoring and emergency override is integrated
Spare parts and service:
17.Five (5) years spare parts for the robot, 1 year full warranty and six months phone assistance
Acceptance:
18.On site or via video presentation, proof samples supplied at no cost
Installation:
19.Pre-requisite electric and utilities information provided
20.Unpack and assemble instructions provided on video before shipment
Information we need with your quote:
21.Image and working video of the proposed machine
22.Explanation of the pre-packaged software and the user/operator interface
23.MTBF
24.Details on the proposed nozzle heads:
24.1 Are they time and pressure or volumetric dispensing type nozzle heads; what is the accuracy
24.2 What range of ingredients and viscosities can they handle, for example, silicone, glue, PU, paint etc,.
24.3 What is the volume displacement of the accompanying tanks
24.4 What parts of the nozzle are software controlled
