Last year I debated which route to take memory or BTR, and I bought the aftermarket 512k ram board which has worked flawlessly since I installed it. However being at memory max on the control, I am finding Lithophane programs that exceed 2mb in size. These programs are mostly simultaneous XYZ moves and the old girl (1983 model) struggles at 30 IPM to keep up with all the processing, but she still does a good job.
So what are the best hardware options (assuming a drip feed is the only one) for large XYZ point to point programs?
I know this topic has be discussed to death, but I get lost bouncing from old thread, to even older threads, back to more current threads.
