Here is what I'm wanting to do. I have separate buttons for feedhold and cyclestart. Both buttons are momentary push buttons that have built in lights (led). I currently have have them connected to a pokeys device. The lights light up depending on which button is active. The also light up when I push the on screen feedhold/cyclestart buttons in Mach3.
I want to keep the same functionality but I need to run at least the feedhold though the kflop so that I don't have the 2-3 sec delay on a feed hold. I have read a bit on this and have the FeedHoldCycleStart.c program that has the debounce code. This program has hte code for both buttons being conencted to the kflop.
I'm guessing that you can setup the cyclestart button when conected to kflop to work for more then just the feedhold/cyclestart program. Would like to also cyclstart Mach3 when it is push if the program had not been started yet.
Also what about the lights for both buttons. Would I need to also run those through the kflop? Or is there some way that I can have kflop plugin in Mach3 turn them on and off with them connected to pokeys.
Part if this is trying to figure out how many more wires I'm going to need to run from my control panel back to my electrical box. I'm having to run another wire for my MPG and would like to get all these run at one time.
Thanks
