Hello all,
I have been building the Solsylva 24 x48 bed CNC router and has been completed for 6 months. I have tried using the trial version of MACH III and have 250 oz steppers. My brains must be failing me but I cannot seem to get the machine operating properly. I did manage to cut out the Road Runner supplied with the program but there are glitches I can't seem to figure out. I don't understand setting up the limits/table size/and all the other settups needed to work properly. My z axis doesn't want to return to the same point. I set the zero at the top surface of the board material and ran the road runner G code. It made way to deep of a cut and the travel on X and Y seemed to stall out at different locations. I thought the alignment of the travels where out but it stalls at different locations. I'm getting really frustrated. If I mistakenly mess up and start breaking parts, I can't afford to replace them-I have a wife. Is it the trial version of MACH III or something else that's messing me up?
