So I have my mill setup on a SJ200 VFD with a 2 speed belt drive...
I used the motor tuning to change the steps per unit to get it running at the commanded speed.
I then switched to another pulley (config >spindle pulleys) and set the other ratio and checked the commanded speed (M3 S3000) and it didn't change... it appears that the ratio box has no effect... I tried switching to different pulley's and changing the ratio and it seems to have no effect...
So... what's up?
Richard
EDT: note that I was monitoring the output Hz display on the VFD. with the new pulley ratio it should have read higher to get the requested 3000 rpm. FYI, my pulley ratios are 1.6 and .6 iirc.
