Spindle PWM output.. again :)

Hey guys,

I've seen other threads with similar questions but none of the fixes I've seen seem to help.

I have the DMM BoB connected to a Teco FM50 VFD - I got M3 and M4 to turn the spindle forward and reverse, but no speed control.

The drive has 3 pins - 10V, Vi and 0V. These are connected, respectively, to +Vin, Aout and G on the BoB. Like others before me, I have 10vdc measured between the Vin and G pins of the BoB, but 0v at Aout.

I've tried to mess with Mach3's settings but no luck. If I set the Port 1 Pin 1 (spindle output) to active low, I get 10v at the Aout pin (and the drive switches to maximum frequency accordingly), but still no change with the various Sxxxx codes.

Kregan had the same issue a while ago and turned out that setting the pin to active low and then back to active high fixed it for him, but not for me.

Any other ideas? The Spindle output has a step and a direction pin, which one should be set to 1?

Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
