Hello, I am looking for quotes on a single part. It is a shaft about 16" long with a couple of shoulders and some threads. Any mild steel will do for this part. Its for a prototype machine and there may be more work to come.
There are some bearings going on it so some of the tolerances are a bit tight. I am not great with specifying tolerances, so if they seem odd, just email me to discuss. Also its for a high speed application (7-8000rpm) so runout between cylindrical sections must be an absolute minimum. The threads are for a standard N-06 locknut (1.173" major diameter, 18tpi).
I have attached a drawing, and I can email a .sldprt or .dxf of the file so you can see it better.
Thanks
