Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but i'm in a bad situation and would appreciate any help I can get. So thanks in advance.
I am currently trying to route a sheet of 3.1mm Bronze using a 2mm, 2 flute, carbide endmill. I'm on a multicam cnc router with a top RPM of 18000. I am also using a mister with lubricant.
I can't be exactly sure what grade the bronze is, but it isn't melting around the bit so it's definitely not too soft.
My two problems are that i am snapping bits very frequently and that I can't manage to keep the bronze from staying still once it has been cut.
I've already snapped a bunch of bits and my boss is putting the pressure on to get the job done.
