Well, I finally finished the basement project, so I can get back to playing with the CNC. Well, I have been playing with it off and on during the remodel, but I can get now devote actual time to it now. I cut my first 3D piece a few nights ago, and I couldn't believe the amout of dust it created. So I know I need to build a dust shoe and collection unit. I've been doing alot of searches the last few days and saved a bunch of shoe designs, so I should be good there. One thing I didn't see addressed is the static electricity that builds up while the chips pass through the hoses. I noticed this while using my shop vac to clean up. Has anyone experienced any damage to their electronics while running? I just don't want to take the drive or computer out.

Thanks,
Justin
