Bubbling perspex

Hi Great forum you guys have here,

i have a bit of a problem i have a 180w c02 laser machine but when cutting perspex 10 - 15mm thick it leaves the edges with bubbles like it has been burnt, i have tried to speed up the cutting but it wont penetrate all the way through the acrylic.

Any help is appreciated.
