Multicam 5000 connection problem

I am trying to get a model 5000 up and running. It has the ethernet connection. I have the PSS software and am trying to connect the machine directly to the computer. So far it will not see the machine. I saw something on here in another post about having to use a Cat6 Crossover cable. Is that my problem?
Also any help on folders to select in the PSS setup would be appreciated.

I have a SF series machine I have been running for years with the serial connection so it really doesn't help me any.
